Save yourself the trouble — go somewhere else. I brought my car to Quick Boys Brake & Tune in Fremont to have a bearing replaced. Right away, there were red flags: I had to source and bring in the replacement parts myself, and once they started the job, they told me they couldn't remove my hub — so they used a torch to cut it off instead. That damaged the hub, meaning I then had to buy a replacement hub on top of the original part. They also pulled off my CV axle by banging it out, and it turned out they didn't even realize the bearing required 3 seals. I stayed and watched the entire job from start to finish. When they were done, they put everything back together and I paid and left. As soon as I got on the freeway, there was a loud noise that hadn't been there before. I went back the very next day. They told me the mechanic who'd worked on my car wasn't in that day and that I'd need to come back when he was scheduled. I got a second opinion from another shop in the meantime, and their diagnostic confirmed exactly what I suspected: the bearing had been installed incorrectly. This is one of the places in the United States where the most honest, hardworking, disciplined, sincere, and friendly people—in my opinion, the very best people—work. It is not a business driven solely by profit; it is a *conscientious* business that recommends the options best suited to your needs. In all my life, I have never encountered a business with such high ethical standards! I highly recommend it. Beto is a top-notch person and an expert in his field. Forget what I’ve written—come and experience it for yourself.

I have been coming to this shop for 3 years, and all three cars in my family have been serviced here. But this time, very disappointing experience. I brought my car in for a tire replacement, and the they installed the wrong tire size. It took about a week and another visit for them to correct it. After the correct tires were installed, my TPMS warning light started flashing. I went back 5 times, and each time they told me it was fixed, but the light came back within hours or the next day. They later claimed the issue was caused by a spare tire TPMS sensor and wanted to charge me extra, but dealed confirmed that my car does not even have a TPMS sensor in the spare tire. After several failed attempts, the issue is still not resolved, and they told me not to come back. Update (in response to the owner’s reply): Replacing the wrong tire size was your responsibility, not a favor, though I still left a $30 tip. The issue has not been properly resolved for over a month. Manager Beto hung up on me, and my emails were never answered. I had not followed the rquired tune ups for my 2016 VW Passat and Beto recommended several services such as spark plugs, coolent, transmission and brakes. Job was completed in less than 2 hrs! My car is running smoothly. Thanks to Beto & his team!

I had an amazing experience at quick boys from start to finish. The team was honest and professional . What stood out the most to me was the customer service by the shop manager Beto . It's clear that getting the job done right and taking care of his customers is his main priority. Definitely a mechanic you can trust for good work, amazing customer service and a fair price. 10/10 highly recommended!
